The On s'engage en développement durable (OSEDD) certificate recognizes companies, organizations, institutions and other types of organizations located in Quebec that are seriously and proactively committed to integrating sustainable development (SD). in their management, by taking action aimed at the continuous improvement of their business practices on social, environmental and economic issues.
It is offered and managed entirely by the ADDERE Service-conseil organization, whose mission is to promote and integrate sustainable development into organizations. In order to ensure an objective and transparent recognition process, ADDERE appoints a qualified and independent auditor, who is part of the evaluation committee, to carry out the evaluation of the applications received.
The OSEDD certificate allows us to set up an effective organizational structure, to ensure the gradual integration of SD as well as the evaluation of our social and environmental performance in our internal management. In addition, it allows us to have access to communication tools to promote our commitments and our achievements.
This certification also acts as a springboard for organizations that eventually wish to obtain internationally recognized certifications, which are verified by a third party, but which are more complex to obtain.
