
Regulations
To allow you to have the best possible experience at our campsite, please take note of the regulations to be observed as a customer.
The client is responsible for all members of his group and his guests for their observance of the rules.
Camping Aventure Mégantic specifically reserves the right to expel any person with their group of clients who do not comply with the regulations or who, at their sole discretion, will be deemed undesirable, without reimbursement or any compensation or other notice.
Early arrival:
An additional charge will be applied if the arrival is more than one hour before the time indicated in the reservation, ie an amount of 7 $ / hour. Accessibility to the site is not guaranteed.
Extended stay:
On the day of departure, it is possible to have an extended stay until 5 p.m. for those who have rented a campsite for an additional fee of 15 $ plus taxes if the availability of pitches allows it. The extended stay is not offered for those staying in ready-to-camp. Go to reception with your sticker before 11 a.m. on the day of departure in order to benefit from this option.
Visitors:
Each client is responsible for their guests and will have to make them leave their location before 10:30 p.m. or check them in for the night. Visitors are admitted until 8:30 p.m. Additional fees will be charged for visitors staying overnight.
Curfew and tranquility of the resort:
At all times, customers must avoid making noise during the curfew period which is from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. and that during this period, no noise likely to be heard from the neighboring location is permitted. During the curfew, customers must be at their respective sites and gatherings are not permitted.
A curfew is also applicable for play modules from 9 p.m. and no noise that can be heard from neighboring locations is allowed.
Pets :
Animals are allowed on the campsite and are limited to 2 per pitch. They must be kept on a leash on your site and cannot be left unattended on your site. They are not allowed in buildings, playgrounds and at the swimming pool. Barking is not tolerated. The keeper of an animal must immediately pick up the excrement of that animal. No aggressive animal is tolerated in the field. Animals are not allowed in the ready-to-camp units with the exception of the MégaPOD 419 and the Wooden Yurt 444.
Trafic :
The maximum permitted speed for vehicle or bicycle travel on the campsite is 8 km / h. During the curfew period, traffic should be kept to a minimum.
The use of electric carts "kart", electric scooter or other electric device must be to move from one point to another and walks of the walk type are prohibited in order to respect the tranquility of other customers. The driver must be at least 14 years old. The cart must have a maximum number of 4 people, ie 2 people in the front and 2 people in the back. A rear seat is mandatory for passengers. Children are not allowed to drive and must be seated back.
It is strictly forbidden to drive a motorbike, moped or other gas vehicle except to get to its location and without noise. Access by motorbike is prohibited after 9 p.m. ATV traffic is prohibited, except vehicles belonging to Camping Aventure Mégantic.
Bicycles must be put away at 9 pm every night.
Alcohol and drugs while driving are prohibited. Police will be called if a driver is seen to be intoxicated.
Parking :
The customer must park his car on his site and may not use vacant sites. It is forbidden to park along paths, playgrounds or any other place not provided for this purpose.
Magnetic card :
Upon your arrival, you will be given a magnetic card to open the barrier free of charge. You must return it to us when you leave, otherwise a charge of 20 $ will apply.
Aquatic facilities:
The aquatic facilities (swimming pools, paddling pool, water games, slides) are open from June until Labor Day. The schedule and access are subject to change without notice. All guests have access to the aquatic facilities. Rescuers have full authority over their use.
Swimming hours: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. / 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. / 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Aquatic facilities regulations:
- Mandatory shower outside;
- Please walk within the premises at all times;
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult;
- Long hair must always be tied and secured;
- Anyone under the influence of alcohol and / or drugs may be refused access to aquatic facilities;
- Glass containers are strictly prohibited;
- It is strictly forbidden to eat inside the facilities;
- Diving, flips, and backflips are prohibited;
- Chewing gum is strictly prohibited;
- It is strictly forbidden to smoke at a distance of less than 9 meters from the facilities;
- It is important to respect the safety and comfort of others;
- Anyone with access to the aquatic facilities must comply with the directives of the lifeguards;
- Animals must stay outside the premises of the installations.
Glass containers :
Glass bottles (beer, liquor, etc.) and any other glass container (wine goblets, glasses, etc.) are strictly prohibited in the various aquatic facilities, under the awning and around them, on the paths of the camping and in children's games, common areas and sports grounds. They are however tolerated at your location. Only cans and plastic bottles are allowed in the aquatic facilities and on the paths. The aim of this regulation is to minimize foot injuries caused by broken bottles.
WI-FI :
We offer free wireless internet for 2 devices. You must have your equipment. You will be provided with a password. Internet service is basic. Camping Aventure Mégantic cannot be held responsible for any interruption in service or malfunction related to this service, regardless of the period of time that the service is non-functional, and no compensation or reimbursement can be claimed.
In order for our wireless network to be efficient, it is strongly recommended not to use your cellular data network, rooters or boosters in order to avoid interference and thus reduce our distribution power and it is forbidden to use the Wi network. -Fi for viewing Netflix or other streaming sites as well as performing game console updates.
Respect of the area and the environment:
Campfires are permitted in the area designated for that purpose and must be put out before going to sleep. At all time, these campfires must be supervised by a responsible adult.
The customer must leave the place he occupies and the equipment he uses in good and clean condition. Likewise, pitches left in a dirty state will be cleaned at the customer's expense and damaged equipment will be replaced at the customer's expense.
Only geothermal mats are tolerated.
Put the trash and recycling in the designated waste containers. Trash and recycling cannot be left in the fire pit or burned.
Keeping the place clean, enjoyable, and safe is everyone’s business.
Insurance and damage:
The customer must hold and maintain in force during the entire rental period provided for an insurance policy covering all of his property and civil liability.
Camping Aventure Mégantic can in no way be held responsible for damage caused to the client or to his property; except in the event of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
The customer will be personally responsible for damage caused to the property of the campsite, by acts that he, the members of the customer group or his guests may commit.
Policy on tobacco and cannabis :
It is forbidden to smoke and vape in buildings, ready-to-camp, common areas, play areas, Teen Corner as well as within a 9-meter perimeter of these places, the community building and any places for children. .
It is forbidden to smoke cannabis in all public places, including play areas, common areas, hiking trails as well as inside ready-to-camp facilities. The customer may, however, smoke cannabis at their rented location.
Driving a vehicle or golf cart while under the influence of drugs will result in the expulsion of the client group.
It is prohibited to :
- Kill, capture, injure, or feed any wild animals;
- Throw away trash other than in the designated waste containers or to burn trash in the fire pit;
- Cut down, damage, or remove any tree, bush, or plant or attach a rope for any reason onto them;
- To relocate the campfire sites;
- Leave dirty dishes and food all over the place;
- Bring glass containers out of your campsite or into buildings, sanitary blocks, aquatic facilities or play areas;
- Wash your car or truck;
- To make fireworks or soaring lanterns;
- To bring slingshots, air guns or any weapon of any kind.
Camping Aventure Mégantic will not be held responsible for accidents or injuries occurring on the site, or for lost, stolen or vandalized items and / or equipment.
Please submit any request, suggestion, or comment to the reception desk; the employee in charge will make sure that it is handed into the appropriate person in a reasonable delay. Out of respect for the privacy of the owners, please refrain from going on their personal camping sites.
