On Saturday, October 3, 2026, Oktoberfest returns to Camping Aventure Mégantic for its 6th edition! A festive day open to everyone, featuring craft beers, gourmet discoveries, music, and good cheer. Over the years, Oktoberfest has become a much-anticipated fall event at the campground. This year, many of the classics that make the day a success will be back, along with some new additions… including one that's sure to tantalize your taste buds! A day to discover local flavors. Lovers of local products can take advantage of the presence of microbreweries and a regional distillery to make various discoveries throughout the day. There will also be plenty of gourmet options, including food trucks, barbecues, and sausage tastings. In short, everything you need to complement your beer discoveries and fully enjoy the Oktoberfest atmosphere! On the music front, Claude Bilodeau will provide the soundtrack in the afternoon. In the evening, Steve Forget, accompanied by his friend Steph, will keep the party going with music. New for 2026: the Spicy Challenge! For the first time this year, the most daring can take part in the Spicy Challenge, presented with BBQ pis Toute and the Challenge Box from La Pimenterie. The concept: 10 increasingly challenging stages to test your tolerance for spice! Participants will have to make it to the end to try and win a gift basket… not to mention the recognition for having completed the challenge! Registration will be on-site at a cost of 20 $ and places are limited. The classics are also back! Because Oktoberfest is also a day for the whole family, several popular activities will be returning for this 6th edition. Children can enjoy inflatable games, face painting, and the play area, while everyone, young and old, can explore the various booths and soak up the atmosphere on site. La Bouée Régionale will also be there with its booth to share its mission and connect with visitors. The event maintains its strong charitable focus. Oktoberfest is organized to benefit La Bouée Régionale, specifically to support its youth programs. A portion of the funds raised during the event will contribute to activities and outings for mothers and their children. Advance tickets are available to everyone.
