Reservation and cancellation policy from Camping Aventure Mégantic
Paying for a reservation
Payment can be made by Visa and MasterCard credit card, as well as at reception by direct payment or cash.
A reservation fee of 4.00 $ plus taxes is applicable for each location rented. Reservation fees are non-refundable.
At the time of booking, the customer must pay a minimum of 50 % of the total cost of the booking, depending on the location chosen.
The balance to be paid must be paid no later than the day of the start of your stay.
Modification & cancellation of a reservation
We invite you to contact us at +1 819-554-6466 for any changes or cancellations to your reservation. A manager will be happy to respond to your request, in accordance with the applicable conditions.
More than 15 days before the start of the reservation
It is possible to cancel or modify the date of your stay with a fee of 15 $ plus taxes (per rented pitch) if we are notified at least 15 days in advance before the start date of the reservation. These charges will be charged to the credit card used when booking.
Between 1 and 14 days preceding your stay
A fee equal to half of the reservation (per rental location) will be charged to your credit card if you cancel between 1 and 14 days before the reservation start date.
For the day before At the start of your stay, we must be notified by 5 p.m. at the latest. Beyond 5 p.m., we consider this to be a cancellation for the same day of your arrival.
If you cancel or do not show up on the same day as your reservation, the entire reservation will be charged.
Absence / Failure to present
In case of absence or failure to show up on the scheduled day of arrival, we will keep your reserved pitch until 11:00 a.m. the day after your scheduled arrival. If we do not receive any notification after this date/time limit, the reservation (entire stay) will be canceled. The entire reservation will be charged and payment will be taken from your credit card.
Early departure
You must pay in full for your reservation upon arrival, with no possibility of refund if the stay is shorter.
Minimum length of stay
A minimum of 2 nights reservation is required during those specific periods:
- Weekends, Fridays and Saturdays
- Everyday during high season
A minimum of 3 nights reservation is required during those specific holidays:
- National Patriots Day
- National Day of St-Jean-Baptiste
- Canada Day
- Labor Day Weekend
- Thanksgiving
A minimum of 3 nights is required for reservations between St-Jean-Baptiste National Day and Labor Day for the following ready-to-camp:
- MegaPOD+
- Deluxe wooden yurt
- Apodis (MegaPOD adapted for people with reduced mobility)
Satisfaction warranty program
You can obtain another location or reimbursement of its rental cost*, if you are not satisfied with your initial location. You must report to the campsite reception within 30 minutes of your arrival. *Minus booking fees.
