THE Saturday, October 3, 2026, Oktoberfest will return to Camping Adventure Megantic for a 6th editionA festive day open to everyone, where microbrewery beers, gourmet discoveries, music and good cheer will be on offer.
Over the years, Oktoberfest has become a much-anticipated autumn event at the campground. This year again, many of the classics that make the day so popular are back, along with a few new additions… including one that's sure to put your taste buds to the test!
A day to discover the local flavors
Lovers of local products will be able to enjoy the presence of microbreweries and a distillery in the region to make different discoveries throughout the day.
The gourmet offerings will also be well represented with... Food trucks, grilled food and sausage tastings. In short, everything you need to accompany your beer discoveries and fully enjoy the Oktoberfest atmosphere!
On the music front, Claude Bilodeau will provide the atmosphere in the afternoon. In the evening, it will be the turn of Steve Forget, accompanied by his friend Steph, to continue the party with music.
New for 2026: The Spicy Challenge!
For the first time this year, the most daring will be able to take part in the Spicy challenge, presented with BBQ and everything and the Challenge box of The Pepper Factory.
The principle: 10 increasingly challenging stages to test their tolerance for spiciness! Participants will have to make it to the end to try and leave with a gift basket… not to mention the recognition of having taken up the challenge!
Registration will take place on site at the cost of 20 $ and places will be limited.
The classics are back too
Because Oktoberfest is also a day for the whole family, several popular activities will be back for this 6th edition.
Children will be able to enjoy the inflatable games, face painting and a play area, while young and old alike discover the various kiosks and enjoy the atmosphere on the site.
The Regional Buoy will also be present with its kiosk to promote its mission and interact with visitors.
The event also retains its important charitable dimension. Oktoberfest is organized to benefit The Regional Buoy, more specifically to support its youth component. Part of the funds raised during the event will contribute to activities and outings for mothers and their children.
